Hi, I’m Larry Mutenda—founder of Creamy Animation and the person behind ExplainerVideos.ca. I’ve spent over 25 years in the creative industry, starting as a graphic designer and fine artist and eventually moving into advertising and video storytelling.
What’s stayed consistent the entire time is my focus on clarity: helping organizations explain what they do in a way that people quickly understand and genuinely care about.
Over the years, my team and I have produced videos that help organizations launch products, train teams, raise funds, and communicate complex ideas with confidence. We’ve partnered with and produced work for a wide range of organizations, including Fujitsu, Logitech, Warner Bros., NFL, RBC, Blockdaemon, Microsoft, Canonical, and MEC.
From the time I started Creamy Animation I’ve worked on over 350 video productions, and produced 1,500+ videos. ExplainerVideos.ca is my new found passion to share my experience and the practical insights into what makes explainer videos work—strategy, messaging, scripting, and production choices that deliver results that matter.
