A 2D animated corporate video for New Gold Inc. It explains the company’s four Strategic Pillars to its people: Operational Excellence, Sustainability, People and Growth.

The Challenge
New Gold wanted every employee to understand the four Strategic Pillars and the role they play in each one. The pillars cover very different ideas, from mine operations to community, culture and growth. The video had to make them feel connected and show they cannot work alone.

Our Solution
We built the video around four pillar icons that rise at the start and come together at the end. Each pillar gets its own scenes from real mine life: planning underground, a school workshop, a roundhouse, a safety sign and team meetings. A clean blue palette and a cast of crew members keep the focus on the people behind the company.

Video concept & storyboards
We storyboarded the script panel by panel before animation began. Each panel paired a line of narration with a clear action. Pick a panel to see the sketch, the final frame and the script behind it.
